Request the deletion of your data
You can request the erasure of the personal data that H-Box processes about you, including Facebook or Instagram data received through an H-Box application or service, under the conditions set by the GDPR.
Making your request
Send us an email stating the email address or contact details you used when dealing with H-Box. If your request concerns Facebook or Instagram, also give the name or identifier of the account, Page or professional account concerned. This helps us find your data without asking you for more information than necessary.
You can also write to micheline@h-box.fr, with the subject “GDPR – Data deletion request”.
What we will do
- We acknowledge receipt of your request and check that we can link it to the right person.
- We delete the data concerned from our active systems, or anonymise it where no retention is necessary.
- We inform you of the action taken on your request.
We reply within one month of receipt at the latest. If the request is complex or if we receive a large number of requests, this period may be extended by two months; we will inform you within the first month.
Possible limits to erasure
The right to erasure is not absolute. Some data may have to be kept, in a limited and secure way, to comply with a legal obligation (for example accounting records) or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. In that case, we will tell you the reason and limit the use of that data to that sole purpose.

If you consider that the handling of your request does not respect your rights, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (the French data protection authority; page in French) or with the data protection authority of your country of residence.
